Hi Everyone,

The year is almost at an end (2008), and what will the new year bring to us all? The OOP club membership has been running down gradually over the last few years. The OOP committee had a meeting after the JDRF walk last Sunday and came to the conclusion that due to the diminishing membership number it is no longer viable to continue with the club past the end of 2008.

It was not an easy decision to make and as most of us have been members for the past 8 years it was a very sad choice for us to make.

This Sunday will be the last Poodle Play, we are also going to bring the Poodle Christmas Party forward to the Sunday 23rd November 2-5pm.

I would appreciate you letting me know if you are attending the Poodle Christmas Party, Santa is always busy at the xmas party and would like to do his best for our poodles. His sack will be very full and all poodles get a present.

If you would like to speak to a committee member about this you can talk to them at the PP on Sunday.

I know this will come to many of you as a shock but we couldn't go on with the increasing costs and low membership. I hope we will be able to meet for walks as friends not as a club in the future.
